Discovered in 2007, Mahenge produces electric "hot pink" spinels unlike anything else. Limited production and exceptional color have made these highly sought-after.
BURMA (MYANMAR)
The historic source of fine red spinels, often called "Balas rubies." Deep reds and pinks from Mogok remain highly valued by collectors.
Red Spinels
Red spinels — from Mahenge neon red to Burma deep chrome-red — are the most investment-grade colour category in spinels. Never heat treated, priced at 20–33% of equivalent ruby.
Pink Spinels
Pink spinels — especially Mahenge neon hot pink — deliver extraordinary colour intensity without any heat treatment. A compelling value alternative to pink sapphire at 30–50% of the price.
Violet Spinels
