A 3.05-carat emerald-cut Ceylon sapphire with a rare opalescent pink — a colour that sits between soft pink and violet, shifting with light in a way that no other gemstone replicates. Opalescent sapphires from Sri Lanka are prized for this milky luminescence, caused by a micro-inclusion scattering effect that gives the stone an almost glowing inner light.
