The Oval Blue Sapphire is a 7.40-carat oval-cut blue sapphire from Sri Lanka, acquired in April 2026. At 7.4 carats it sits in a weight category where fine blue sapphires become genuinely scarce — the majority of investment-grade Ceylon material is cut in the 2–5 carat range, making stones above 5 carats command exponentially higher per-carat premiums in the collector and auction market.

The stone is natural — no evidence of heat treatment or other enhancement — and is currently undergoing certification. GRS or equivalent documentation will confirm origin and treatment status prior to sale. Natural, unheated status at this weight would position it at the upper tier of the Ceylon sapphire market.
